Tasting Spain will take part in Alimentaria 2026, one of the leading international trade fairs for the food, gastronomy and horeca sectors, to be held from 23 to 26 March at Fira de Barcelona Gran Via.
Tasting Spain’s participation in this year’s edition will feature a dedicated space designed to showcase the gastronomic richness of the destinations that make up the association. Throughout the fair, a programme of live cooking shows and culinary activities will also take place, offering visitors and industry professionals the chance to experience first-hand the culinary diversity, professional talent and strong connection between product, territory and tourism that define Tasting Spain’s model of gastronomic tourism.
Several destinations from the network will take part in this joint initiative, reinforcing a shared vision that understands gastronomy as a way of discovering a territory, boosting local economies and projecting a distinctive image of Spain through its flavours. Tasting Spain’s presence at Alimentaria will further strengthen its position as a solid alliance between destinations, hospitality and local produce, capable of turning cuisine and food culture into a driver of tourism appeal.
In a setting such as Alimentaria, an international meeting point for professionals across the food and hospitality value chain, Tasting Spain will take this opportunity to increase visibility, foster new professional connections and continue sharing a narrative in which gastronomic tourism is understood as experience, identity and development.
