Saborea España strengthened its commitment to promoting Spanish gastronomy at Auténtica Premium Food Fest, a key event that brought together national and international leaders in Seville.
The first day was marked by the presence of producers who embody the diversity of Saborea España’s network of gastronomic destinations. Among them were Canarian coffee grower Víctor Lugo, who preserves the unique tradition of Agaete coffee at La Laja estate, within Los Berrazales Winery; Quesos Don Apolonio, a family-run business from Ciudad Real and a benchmark in artisanal cheese; the tourism project La Travesía de Afurgad – Aguaide Trains, presented by Ibán Medina as a journey that connects nature and culture; and the Gran Canaria Wine Route, a clear example of the enological value of the island’s volcanic landscapes.
A highlight of the fair was the visit of Indian influencer and MasterChef winner Shipra Khanna @masterchefshiprakhanna, who toured three destinations of the network: Valladolid, Cambrils, and Seville. Her experience, shared with millions of followers on social media, showcased the richness and authenticity of Spanish gastronomy.
The second day featured round tables with the participation of Emilio Gallego, Secretary General of Hostelería de España, who analyzed the challenges and opportunities of gastronomic tourism in today’s context.
The final touch of Saborea España’s participation took place on the main stage, with the presence of manager Lluis Pujol and Víctor Lugo, in an event that symbolized the union of producers, destinations, and professionals around a common goal: consolidating Spain as an international benchmark for gastronomic tourism.
