Tasting Spain makes its debut at AUTÉNTICA 2026 and welcomes two new destinations to the network

Saborea España, Spain’s leading gastronomic tourism platform, will take part in AUTÉNTICA 2026, the gastronomic tourism fair held at FIBES Seville, on September 14 and 15. The event brings a double piece of news: the addition of two new destinations to the network, Saborea Castellón and Saborea El Hierro, joining the national gastronomic map represented by Saborea España.

The presence in Seville comes alongside Saborea Sevilla, host destination of a fair that has become one of the major showcases for the gastronomic and tourism sector in southern Spain.

A stand carrying the flavors of Spain

Over both days, from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, the Saborea España stand (Hall 1, Stand 1B240) will become a meeting point between visitors, industry professionals and the flavors of the destinations that make up the network. The program includes workshops, showcooking sessions and tastings, designed to let the public discover firsthand the gastronomic diversity that defines each territory.

“Tapear nos une,” at the heart of AUTÉNTICA

The standout moment of the participation will take place on Sunday, September 14, from 6:30 to 7:00 pm, at Aula Degusta 2, with a showcooking held under the slogan “Tapear nos une” (“Tapas unite us”). The activity is part of Saborea España’s active support for the bid to have tapeo recognized as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, an initiative that champions the cultural and social value of one of Spain’s most recognizable culinary traditions.

Chefs from each participating destination will present their signature tapa and product, in a showcase that highlights the richness and diversity of the destinations that make up Saborea España.
