From June 12 to 15, Dublin’s iconic Merrion Square welcomed over 34,000 food lovers to Taste of Dublin 2025, the city’s premier culinary event. Among the festival’s most celebrated highlights was Tasting Spain, the joint initiative of the Spanish Tourism Office and Saborea España, once again showcasing the best of Spanish food and wine.
A journey through Spanish flavors
Tasting Spain invited guests on a rich sensory tour of Spain’s diverse regions, featuring premium tapas, wines, olive oils, and cheeses. Through live cooking demos and expert-led tastings, attendees explored the gastronomic treasures of Lanzarote, Gran Canaria, Zaragoza, and Cambrils — and found fresh inspiration for their next trip to Spain.
A delicious collaboration: Tasting Spain Chefs & La Ribera
One of this year’s main attractions was the return of La Ribera, a top-tier Spanish catering company led by Dublin-based chef Jorge Hernández. Together with guest chefs, they hosted a pop-up restaurant at Tasting Spain, serving signature dishes inspired by the featured destinations alongside classic Spanish tapas. A VIP experience with Spanish flair
VIP guests enjoyed curated tastings in the Häagen-Dazs VIP Suite, featuring premium wines from D.O. Rías Baixas — including the renowned Albariño — and regional delicacies. A special highlight was the debut of Las Cuatro TTTT, introducing its Vintage Wine for Millennials to the Irish market.
