Spain Returns to Taste of Dublin 2025 with a Flavourful Journey Across Regions

From June 12th to 15th, Merrion Square will once again host one of Ireland’s top culinary events: Taste of Dublin. And this year, the Spanish Tourism Office and Saborea España are back with Tasting Spain, a standout showcase of Spanish food culture and tourism.

Visitors can savour premium wines, olive oils, cheeses, and tapas, while discovering the gastronomic richness of Lanzarote, Gran Canaria, Zaragoza, and Cambrils. Daily live masterclasses and tastings will bring the best of each destination to life.

An exciting addition is the collaboration with La Ribera, the acclaimed Spanish catering company led by chef Jorge Hernández. Their pop-up restaurant will serve dishes inspired by each featured region. Don’t miss the exclusive VIP tastings in the Häagen-Dazs Suite, where the spotlight will shine on Albariño wines from D.O. Rías Baixas and the debut of Las Cuatro TTTT‘s Vintage Wine for Millennials.

Friday 13th June also marks World Tapas Day, with a special evening at the SuperValu Real Food Kitchen (8:00–10:00 PM) featuring a live demo by top Spanish chefs.

Chef schedule at the SuperValu Food Kitchen:

  • Yeray Gil (Tasting Lanzarote) – Thursday at 12:45 PM

  • Sergi Palacín (Tasting Cambrils) – Saturday at 3:00 PM

  • Rubén Martín (Tasting Zaragoza) – Saturday at 8:45 PM

  • Alejandro Mederos & Oscar Dayas (Tasting Gran Canaria) – Sunday at 12:15 PM
