Tasting Don Quixote route

Every corner of Ciudad Real reminds us that we are in the land of Don Quixote. The capital of La Mancha has numerous statues and places that evoke the memory of our most relevant character.

We invite you to know the traditional Manchega Cuisine while you walk along our streets and squares to discover that the spirit of Don Quixote is more alive than ever.

In this route we can deeply know the figure of our more inmortal embassador, Don Quixote of La Mancha. Cervantes, in the work summit of Spanish literature, introduce in several chapters the Manchega Gastronomy, not only its products but also tradictional recipes of this area. In fact, the introduction of this book present a summary of the daily menu in the house of Don Alonso Quijano, who along with his loyal squire Sancho, will guide us through one of the oldest Spanish gastronomic routes.
