The hunting cuisine is one of the specialities of La Mancha Gastronomy. It is a healthy product which, cooked in our kitchens, becomes a pleasure to recreate our palates.

Description:
MUSEUM OF ARCHAEOLOGY AND PALAEONTOLOGY The Palaeontology collection is composed of fossil remains from different archaeological sites in the province, which allow a journey through the geological periods from the Cambrian to the Quaternary. The Archaeology collection is very extensive and is continually being increased with the arrival of materials from the interventions carried out in the province. it covers from the Lower Palaeolithic to the creation of the city in the Middle Ages.
Temporal exposition. THE HUNT: AN EVOLVING CHALLENGE To mark the 20th anniversary of the Institute of Hunting Resources, the Museum of Ciudad Real has prepared, together with the IREC, a large temporary exhibition entitled: “Hunting: an evolving challenge”. In it, different evolutionary aspects (biological, technological, rational and ethical) are approached, in a rigorous and didactic way, which allow us to approach the knowledge of the hunting activity developed by the human species since Prehistory.

Description: The Cabañeros National park is currently one of the most important protected areas on the Iberian Peninsula, which is located in Castilla La Mancha between the provinces of Ciudad Real and Toledo. Its great diversity of fauna and botanical species, together with its peculiar geology, make this natural area a jewel of great natural value, being the representative natural park of the Mediterranean mountain, within the network of national parks. The landscape of Cabañeros, as a result of the action of man throughout history, has given rise to a peculiar landscape of extensive pastures previously used for dry cereal crops and rich seasonal pastures. Sheltered by the Sierras del Chorito and the Rocigalgo Massif, among other mountain formations, completely covered with perfectly preserved Mediterranean forest and scrubland.
Main offers: Some of the most representative species of this National Parque are the are the large birds of prey, such as the Iberian Imperial Eagle, the Black Stork, or the Black Vulture, mammals such as deer, roe deer or wild boar among other species. Description: The wetland known as Las Tablas de Daimiel was declared a National Park in 1973, a Biosphere reserve in 1981 and it was included on the list of the Ramsar Convention in 1982. The park is the last representative example of an ecosystem known as “tablas fluviales”, this formation is produced by the overflowing of the rivers Guadiana and Gigüela that favoured by the lack of slope on the ground. With its declaration as a National Park, a great step was taken towards the conservation of one of the most valuable ecosystems on our planet, thus ensuring the survival of the birdlife that uses these areas as a wintering, nesting and roosting area.

Description: A company located in Ciudad Real that organises both captive and free balloon flights, allowing you to get to know our landscapes from the air. It is one of the best ways to discover the plains of La Mancha from the air, and see how it fades in the horizon. It is an experience that everyone should do at least once in a lifetime.

Description: Restaurant with a wood-fired oven, where you can enjoy dishes from La Mancha and Castilian cuisine. With a very cosy and comfortable atmosphere, it has two dining rooms for 45 and 50 people, and a private dining room for 10 people. It also has a large summer terrace for 120 diners.

Description: La Real de la Caza is the only shop in Castilla-La Mancha specialised in preparing the best game recipes and typical dishes of our gastronomy to take away.
Products on offer: All kinds of game pâtés and cured meat.
