DO Wine from Pago Florentino

Pago Florentino wines are red wines with a deep color, a mature fruity bouquet and a freshness on the palate thanks to the early, ripened grapes we use. It’s produced from different authorized grape varietes: Reds: Tempranillo, Syrah and Petit Verdot.

FLAVOR AND CHARACTERISTICS:
Tempranillo red: It has a deep cherry-red color, with a dense, profound and lively meatiness, and cardinal-red legs. Its bouquet is fresh and direct, with ripe and sweet fruit nuances, blueberry, cherry and grape, together with toasty hints of woody minerals. On the palate it’s powerful and fruity, complemented with vanilla and cinnamon and soothing, velvety tones. Its expressive texture is meaty and rich, with a long finish and noble, over-ripe tannins. It’s produced with various combinations of Syrah and Petit Verdot, although the total of these two can never exceed 10% of the overall mix.
