The whites and red wines from the DO Pago (from an individual vineyard within a Designation of Origin) Casa del Blanco stand out from other wines in the area thanks to the particular characteristics of the soil where the grapes are grown. This produces wines with a higher concentration of antioxidants. The approved grapes are: Reds: Tempranillo or Cencibel, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Petit Verdot, Malbec and Cabernet Franc. Geograpgic area: The Casa del Blanco farm is on the outskirts of the town of Manzanares, in the province of Ciudad Real, in the Autonomous Community of Castilla-La Mancha. More than 92 hectares of the property belong to the vineyard “de Pago”, Casa del Blanco.
