Tigernut

Tigernut is grown in 16 villages in the Valencian region of L’Horta Nord, since these lands have the characteristics and climatic conditions ideal for its cultivation. This makes Valencia, the only area in Spain where it is cultivated this singular tuber. The Designation of Origin which endorses it is a guarantee of its high quality.

Tigernut is the tuber from which is extracted the juice for the delicious Valencian drink, “La horchata” which contains very beneficial properties for our body and is suitable for gluten and lactose intolerant.
