Rice

Valencia is known throughout the world for its powerful rice gastronomy. In the Natural Park of the Albufera, valencian rice is cultivated with Denomination of Origin, land of cultivation highly protected in environmental terms. The three varieties with denomination of origin are: Senia, Bomba and Albufera those are the best adapted to the area of cultivation. Furthermore, they are the most suitable for cooking the traditional rice recipes, very typical of the Levante area.
