Asparagus from Navarre
It can be nominated as the king of Navarre’s vegetables. It has been included since 1986 in the Protected Geographical Indication. Its colour is ivory white with rare or nulle fibrosity and a soft and balanced flavour that makes the difference, thanks to the weather in which it is cultivated with cold nights and quality irrigation water.
It can be found fresh from the end of March until June. The rest of the year it can only be found canned.
