In November and December Tudela holds gastronomic events to promote winter vegetables (thistle, artichoke, borage, etc.). The Town Hall of Tudela in collaboration with the Association of catering businesses of Navarre, the Federation of gastronomic societies “El Hortelano” and a number of hospitality establishments offer a range of activities and gastronomic events.

This year’s event includes a new feature, it is extended to the months of January and February, to cover the events organised for the so-called verduras del hielo (ice vegetables), the programming of which is designed to publicise the benefits of low temperatures in the cultivation of winter vegetables.
