This is the oldest, most traditional tourism and gastronomy event. Since 1963 it has been held every August, the month which attracts the most tourist to the Mediterranean coast.

The most remarkable event in this festival is the public prawn tasting. Here, up to 300 kg of this culinary delight are shared out among the thousands of people who attend the event.
