The Fallas fiestas have an artisanal origin dedicated to Saint Joseph from the middle of 18^th Century.

A total of eleven Fallas Commissions and the Fallas Local Board build their monuments in Dénia every year.

These Fiestas start on 15^th March called “La Plantà” day when the monuments are installed in the streets and from that day, we can enjoy different activities like firecracker rockets, street parades when the “Falleros” (Falla members) dance through the streets accompanied by the music bands of their Falla association.
